Is South Africa safe? It's the first question almost every woman asks us. Our answer: with the right preparation and the right people around you, you can explore it with complete confidence. Here's how we make sure of that.

Accommodation we know personally, in safe locations.
Every transfer with licensed transport companies. You never have to drive yourself.
Experienced guides and suppliers we have worked with for years.
Personal support and a WhatsApp group throughout your trip.
An information pack and an introductory call before departure.
Mirte's PhD research focuses on crisis and risk management in tourism. That knowledge goes into every trip we plan.

For the legally required travel guarantee, we use STO Garant, a guarantee scheme recognised by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). When the guarantee applies to your booking, you pay into the escrow account of Stichting Derdengelden Certo Escrow, where your money stays until after your trip. If the travel organisation becomes insolvent, STO Garant carries out the guarantee.
