Frequently asked questions

Can't find your question? Send us a message, we're happy to help.

Ask your question
Is South Africa safe for women?

With good preparation, yes. We choose accommodation in safe locations, arrange all transport and only work with partners we trust. Throughout the trip, you always have someone to contact.

Can I join on my own?

Absolutely. Our group trips are designed for women travelling alone. You have your own room or tent and a group around you from day one.

Do I book my own flights?

Yes, you book your own flights. We let you know when to arrive and depart so everything connects smoothly.

Do I need a visa?

Many passport holders, including Dutch, Belgian and British citizens, don't need a visa for holidays of up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days after you leave South Africa and have two blank pages. Always check the current rules for your passport before you travel.

Which vaccinations do I need?

Ask your travel clinic or GP for advice. The safari area around Kruger National Park is a malaria area, so ask about malaria prevention too.

What else do I need to arrange?

Travel insurance with worldwide cover, a South African SIM card or eSIM, and some cash for tips. Your information pack lists everything.

Is my money protected?

Yes. We are a member of STO Garant, the Dutch travel guarantee fund. Your payment goes into an escrow account and stays protected until after your trip.

Shall we plan your trip together?

Tell us what you're dreaming of. We reply personally, usually within two working days.

We only use your details to answer your question. Read our privacy policy.
